Playing Poker at LadbrokesPoker

Ladbrokes is the biggest bookmaker in the UK and organisers of the Poker Million Tournament.

Ladbrokes currently offer the following ways to deposit with the minimum deposit being 10 (or equivalent) :
  • NETeller
  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • Switch / Delta / Solo / Maestro (UK only)
  • eNets (Singapore Only)
  • Wire Transfer
  • Cashier Cheques / Money Orders / Bankers Drafts / Personal Cheques

Ladbrokes Ladbrokes software is one of if not the best software setup on the net (designed by microgaming). If you love 3D characters and fancy graphics at the table then this isn't for you. The interface is very straight forward with an chair with your name on it representing you at the table.

It has everything you could ask for at the table - stats, player notes, a large textbox at the side of the table, options to wait for the big blind when you enter the table, the number of levels level in a tournament and my fave a history of the current hand for each player. This history lets you see how each player called the hand and lists their calls, raises and folds which makes it a little easier to work out if someone is slowplaying you for example. The speed of the whole system is very quick as well.

The lowest limits at Ladbrokes are the $0.15/$0.30 tables so lower limit players should find a table suitable here. They go all the way up to $300/$600 tables - no joke!. They also have sit and go's all the way up to $5000. Ladbrokes definately caters for the big boys. Although ladbrokes is a UK based company, they list stakes at US Dollars, British Pounds and Euros although dollars seems to be more popular.

Ladbrokes isnt as busy as somewhere like Party, but they are always have thousands at the tables and i have yet to find a table that suited me due to it being too quiet.

Ladbrokes have a good range of tourneys. I'm a big fan of their 5 player single table sit and go's. They have satelites to all the major tourneys including their own Poker Million tourney as well as high limit multi table tournies.

Ladbrokes usually have a freeroll about 3-4 times a week. The payouts are average if you compare them to other freerolls but every once in a while they hold huge freerolls and when they do the payouts are fantastic. The last time they did this they had a freeroll every week for about 3 weeks with the total prize money being about $7,000 to $9,000 for each - 1st place got about $1,500.

Ladbrokes are one of the only poker rooms which do not actively give out bonuses. They tend to promote the site by boosting freerolls and tournaments with cash.

Cashing Out

Ladbrokes offer :
  • NETeller
  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • Switch / Delta / Solo / Maestro (UK only)
  • Cheque

Ladbrokes is a good poker room. Your bound to find a table that suits your needs, in particular if you play at the higher limits. It's worth signing up if even its only for their freerolls and satelite mutli table tournaments.
